Akademie-Galerie – Die Neue Sammlung (the new collection)

In 2005, the Akademie-Galerie, which continues the tradition of collecting lost in the 19^th century within the Academy, opened in the former building of the Arts and Crafts School at Burgplatz 1 (in the Old City). Over the last years, a remarkable collection of works – paintings, sculptures, object art and photographs – has evolved, which is continuously expanded with new gifts from the Academy members. Two temporary exhibitions take place each year.

Students are eligible for a 50 % discount on admission tickets and pay € 3.
