Düsseldorfer Marionetten-Theater (Düsseldorf Puppet Theatre)

The productions at Düsseldorf Puppet Theatre are lovingly and elaborately aparelled. The repertoire ranges from “Jim Button” to Shakespeare’s comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. With over 900 performances, Michael Ende’s “Night of Wishes” (or “The Satanarchaeolidealcohellish Notion Potion”) has long achieved cult status, closely followed by Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”. In 230 performances a year, the five-strong ensemble of players presents lively and contemporary puppet theatre for adults and children from the age of eight.
