German Diabetes Centre

The DDZ is an interdisciplinary research institution in Düsseldorf that combines basic molecular and cell biological research with clinical and epidemiological research approaches.

 

Research Centre Jülich

Research Centre Jülich conducts interdisciplinary research in the fields of health, energy, environment and information. With around 5,800 employees, it is one of the largest research institutions in Europe.

 

GESIS Leibniz-Institut für Sozialwissenschaften

With over 300 employees at two locations - Mannheim and Cologne - GESIS provides fundamental and internationally significant services in the field of research on social sciences.

 

GFFU

Universities need support to fulfil their tasks comprehensively and effectively. For the HHU, friends and supporters have been united in the Society of Friends and Supporters of the HHU (GFFU) since 1955.

 

Leibniz Institute for environmental medical research

The central task of the IUF is the molecular preventive medical research of environmentally caused diseases. This is intended to improve health care with regard to environmental pollution and to develop preventive strategies.

 

LVR Hospital Düsseldorf

The LVR-Hospital Düsseldorf is both a university hospital and a specialist clinic for psychiatry, psychosomatics and psychotherapy. It is responsible for the care of the population of the city of Düsseldorf and undertakes extensive research tasks.
