Heinrich Heine University (HHU) aims to make it possible for all students to study in an equal and accessible way: Compensation for disadvantages can counterbalance disabilities and chronic illnesses that adversely affect studies.
Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf’s (HHU) objective is to provide optimum support for students who have psychological or physical disabilities to enable them to complete their studies successfully. The Rectorate, Diversity Coordination Office and other HHU departments are working with us to improve study and exam conditions as well as everyday life at our University for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses in the spirit of equal opportunities. We would be pleased to help you with regard to all questions and concerns arising during your studies and, in particular, to inform you about compensation for disadvantages and accessibility.
We are delighted to announce that Prof. Dr. Frank Dietrich will start as Commissioner for Students with Disabilities or Chronic Illness and Lydia Schmidt will join the hhu as head of the BBSt on September 1st, 2022. We are very happy that the BBSt will be able to offer consultations again starting from next winter term 2022/23.
