Female Professors Programme III (PPIII) of the federal government and the states

In 2018, HHU successfully applied to participate in the Female Professors Programme III (PPIII) with its equal opportunities concept. The acquired PPIII funding will finance a W3 and a W2 professorship, both held by women, in whole or in part until 2024. HHU has thus been able to acquire €1.3 million in total as start-up financing for the two professorships within the framework of PPIII.

The budget funds partially freed up by this will be used to implement new equal opportunities measures aimed at acquiring and supporting female students, career and personal development – in particular for female early career researchers – and increasing the number of women in leading scientific positions.

The offers, measures and projects within the framework of PPIII include:

The Central Equal Opportunities Officer has set up the FamilyFund for female postdocs and postdoctoral researchers as well as female junior professors at HHU (excluding the Faculty of Medicine) as part of the Female Professors Program III.
