Welcoming Ceremony for First-Year Students 2022

On 10 October 2022, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf invites all new students to a festive welcome ceremony.

In an official welcome reception in lecture hall 3A, the university management and the AStA board will welcome the new students and provide information about studying and everyday life at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. The students can follow the event in a live-stream in lecture halls 3B-D and 2A-D. All first-year students will have the opportunity to ask their questions about the start of their studies in advance. Selected questions will then be answered live on stage. Afterwards the university will offer in the foyer of the lecture halls 22.01 and 23.01 an Information Bazaar where all  central institutions of HHU will present themselves with a wide range of information and advice for the first-semester students.

Of course the cultural and leisure activities on offer will be presented as well: freshers will get an initial impression of their life on campus and the cultural life in the city of Düsseldorf. Numerous cultural institutions in the city present their offerings.
