New back-up care offer
at the HHU from 01/04/2024

In cooperation with the pme Family Service, the Family Advice Bureau, in collaboration with the Central Equal Opportunities Officer, is offering a back-up childcare service for children aged eight weeks to 12 years from 01/04/2024. The children will be looked after by qualified specialist staff with an appropriate childcare ratio in the pme Family Service facilities. If regular childcare is unavailable, academic employees at HHU can make use of the highly flexible childcare services. As the provider operates 70 centrally located facilities nationwide, this service is also available at other locations.

Before using the back-up facilities for the first time, a declaration of consent regarding the assumption of costs by the department is required. After that, the service can be used promptly if booked by 6 p.m. the day before.

Interested parents can contact the FBB immediately at or phone 81-10822 to clarify the general conditions.
