Erasmus Programme

Erasmus as the world's most famous mobility programme concerns all members of the HHU! It not only supports stays abroad for students, but also for lecturers and employees of the HHU. Further information on the various funding opportunities can be found in the right-hand column.

Why the Plus Sign?

Erasmus+ replaced the EU education programme ERASMUS / Life-long Learning Programme (LLP) (2007 - 2013) in June 2014. Among others, the programme has been supporting projects of individual study programmes with non-European countries since 2015 (KA 107). And in 2021 the next Erasmus generation will begin with a focus on digital and blended mobility.

HHU in the Erasmus Area

The HHU cooperates with over 200 partners in 31 European countries as well as Israel, Japan, Georgia and Armenia. You can find the individual subject partnerships on our map of Erasmus partner universities or in the PDF list of Erasmus partner universities sorted by country.
