Research using molecular and cell biology tools. I am currently interested in studying molecular mechanisms leading to disease.
Research Career and International Expierence:
Master´s degree internship at the University Clinic Münster focused on characterizing a potassium channel important in proper signal transmission in neurons of the prefrontal cortex, important in cognition.
At the Core Facility, DZNE-Bonn as Lab assistant in developing cell culture models for studying neurodegenerative diseases
Voluter at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative and at the tropical medicine department in vaccine trials
