Immigration Office Düsseldorf
The Immigration Office in Düsseldorf will be closed for the time being until 07.03.21.
- All appointments will be postponed to a later date. The Immigration Office will send out new appointments by post in the next few weeks. Please make sure that your name is clearly readable on your post box.
- All residence permits/visas that expire in the meantime will be automatically extended by a general decree:
- General decree for residence permits/visas that expired between 16.12.20 -10.01.21 - Extension until 31.03.21
- General decree for residence permits/visas that expired between 11.01.21 -31.01.21 - Extension until 30.04.21
- General decree for residence permits/visas that expired between 01.02.21 -14.02.21 - Extension until 30.04.21
- General decree for residence permits/visas that expired between 15.02.21 -07.03.21 - Extension until 31.05.21
- It's still possible to pick up electronic residence cards: If you have received the information that your electronic residence card (eAT) has already been issued and is ready for pick-up, you can go without an appointment to the ServicePoint of the Immigration Office at Erkratherstraße 377. Please show the security guards outside the office your passport and the information that your card is ready for collection. The opening hours are: Mon-Fri, 7:30 am - 1 pm.
