Living Expences

If you plan to study in Düsseldorf as an international student, it is helpful to have realistic expectations regarding the cost of living in Düsseldorf. Tuition Fees

HHU does not cahrg any tuition fee. However, there is a social contribution. The social contribution is 311.43 euros for the winter semester 2020/2021 and varies slightly depending on the semester.
The semester contribution includes: Costs for the semester ticket, contributions to student service, the AstA, university sports, student council, university radio Düsseldorf and reimbursement of the semester ticket for students in need.
