Where the Staff Week will take place

The Staff Week takes place in two different locations: The first and third day will be at the University House and the second day on the University campus.

How to get there

1. University House: Schadowplatz 14, 40212 Düsseldorf. Click here to get more information on how to get there.

2. HHU Campus: On the second day you will be at two different locations.

From 9:00 to 10:00 there will be Coffee & Networking in the Student Service Center (SSC), building 21.02. Here you can find the instructions on how to get to the SSC building.
From 10:00 the AI workshop will take place in the Centre for Information and Media Technology (ZIM), building 25.41.
After the AI workshop (June 12) we will meet at 19:00 for an integration dinner in the brewery “Zum Schlüssel”, Bolkerstraße 41-47, 40213 Düsseldorf

How to get to the city from Düsseldorf Airport

1. Train and bus: Düsseldorf Airport has two railway stations. Visit their website for detailed information on how to get to the city by urban trains (S-Bahn) or bus.

There are many hotels in Düsseldorf. Below is a list of some of the hotels close to the University House and places of interest such as the Old Town, museums, the Rhine River, restaurants and shops.

Good to know

The public transport single ticket allows you to travel for up to 90 minutes in one direction, even if you have to change from tram to urban train (S-Bahn) or bus. You can buy them at ticket machines or via the Rheinbahn app.
A 24-hour ticket allows you to travel in Düsseldorf as much as you like starting from the time of purchase.
In most places you can pay with a debit card. But bring some cash with you, as a few restaurants don't accept cards.
