Erasmus Study Stay Abroad
Are you thinking about spending some time in another European country during your studies?
Information on Erasmus funding for stays in the UK from the 2024/25 academic year: Stays at a partner university in the UK under the Erasmus programme will be eligible for funding again from the 2024/25 academic year! (Funding rate: €600/month + Social Top-Up/Green Travel where applicable, as at: May 2024). Please contact the International Office for further information.
Erasmus provides funding for stays abroad during your studies under certain conditions, which vary from year to year. A new project is launched every year. The conditions that apply for you depend on your period of study abroad. You can find the corresponding fact sheet with detailed information on the 2024 project for study visits in the winter semester 2024/25 and summer semester 2025 and with information on the conditions for funding in the download area.
Please note: Please apply both via our online application and to your Erasmus Departmental Coordinator! Both applications must be submitted in order for you to receive a place.
If you intend to apply for the Social Top-Up additional funding for students with fewer opportunities, please note that the corresponding application form (declaration on honour) must be uploaded together with the online application. The declaration on honour can be downloaded from the online application. Submission of the form after the online application will not be accepted.
