Erasmus Study Stay Abroad

Are you thinking about spending some time in another European country during your studies?

Note on Erasmus funding for stays in the UK from the 2024/25 academic year: Stays at a partner university in the UK under the Erasmus programme will be eligible for funding again from the 2024/25 academic year! (Funding rate: €700/month + Social Top-Up/Green Travel where applicable, as at: November 2023). Please contact the International Office for further information.

Please note: You should apply via both our online application process and via your Erasmus Departmental Coordinator. Both applications are needed for you to be awarded a place.

Erasmus provides funding for stays abroad during your studies under certain conditions, which vary from year to year. A new project is launched every year. The conditions that apply for you depend on your period of study abroad. You can find the corresponding fact sheet with the conditions for funding in the download area:

The 2023 project applies for periods of study abroad in the winter semester 2023/24 and summer semester 2024.

Detailed information on the 2024 project for study visits in the winter semester 2024/25 and summer semester 2025 will follow.
