Entry/Admission requirements
Prerequisite for admission: school-leaving qualification permitting university admission (Abitur) or a qualification recognised as equivalent.
The Bachelor’s program in Medical Physics has no admission requirements. The program can only be started in the winter semester.
First-year students are encouraged to take a preparatory course at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Participation is voluntary and offers the opportunity to review high school material to make the transition to university easier. For prospective first-year students in Medical Physics, courses in physics and/or mathematics are recommended (depending on which courses were taken in high school and where there is a need to catch up).
