Short description

The master programme in physics at the Heinrich-Heine-University is a two-year programme for students who have successfully graduated from a bachelor programme in physics. The language of instruction is English and the curriculum is designed for students with a strong scientific interest.  The curriculum focusses on the active research areas at the Heinrich-Heine-University, such as nano and solid state physics, quantum optics and quantum information, plasma physics, biophysics and soft matter.

The admission committee of the physics department evaluates all applications individually. Admission to the programme is granted if the academic qualification meets the requirements of our programme.
