The interdisciplinary and integrated MA programme in Political Communication focuses on the presentation, communication, and perception of politics in modern societies and on the interaction of media and politics. It provides training in advanced social science research methodology and fosters cooperation skills through project-oriented study.
Entry/Admission requirements
Applications for a special qualification certification are due to July, 31st, and admission requires the successful completion of a BA or a higher degree (with a grade of “good” (2,3) or above), profound knowledge of communication and media studies, political science, and research methodology and a scientific paper on political communication (for detailed requirements, please see here). Please note that all our courses are held in German language.
Programme objectives/Career prospects
The programme prepares for professional fields such as political public relations and strategic planning, public affairs, journalism, political education, market and public opinion research and scientific research.
