The M.A. programme in History can follow to a B.A. qualification in History and adresses students interested in scientific research.
Thc M.A. programme in History is to be studied in four semesters. Prerequisite for the admission  to the M.A. programme in History is an assessment of eligibility ("Nachweis der besonderen Eignung").

The application for the M.A. programme in History is to be directed to the M.A. programme coordinator and has to be accompanied by the B.A. certificate and transcript of records.

Entry/Admission requirements

Prerequisite for the admission to the M.A. programme in History is a B.A. qualification in history with an overall grade of 2.5 (German grading system). In order to enroll an assessment of eligibility ("Nachweis der besonderen Eignung") has to be issued by the commission of admission to the M.A. programme in History.

Programme content

In the M.A. programme in History the whole range of historical studies can be pursued while it is possible to concentrate on preferred epochs, methods or topics. The language of instruction is German.
