Application for Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry: nationwide NC

The "nationwide NC" subjects are study programmes with admission restriction which are managed by the Foundation for University Admissions ("Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung"). Study places are awarded by the foundation (according to average mark, waiting time etc.).

The following study programmes at the Heinrich Heine University are affected by this regulation:

  • Pharmacy (state examination- offered during summer and winter term)
  • Medicine (state examination- only offered during winter term)
  • Dentistry (state examination- only offered during winter term)

The application will be done via the above mentioned services of the former ZVS: „Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung“ – Dortmund  and is only offered online.

Important: If you have received an admission at the Heinrich Heine University for one of the study programmes awarded by the Foundation for University Admissions, you will receive a letter of admission directly issued by the "Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung" from Dortmund.
