For prospective students with German citizenship and/or a German university entrance qualification:

After submitting an online application via the application and enrolment portal, you can go through the online enrolment process once you have been admitted. Provided you meet the enrolment requirements (university entrance qualification, proof of health insurance, payment of social security contributions), you are guaranteed a place in subjects with no admission restrictions.

You can submit the online enrolment in admission-free Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral subjects for the summer semester 2024 in the application and enrolment portal from 16 January 2024.

For prospective students with German citizenship and a foreign university entrance qualification:

Bachelor's degree:

German citizens with a university entrance qualification obtained abroad must upload the following documents when enrolling:

  • Your foreign certificates in the original language and the corresponding translation (except for English and French language certificates).

Master's:

For the Master's programme you must:

  • Only upload the foreign certificates in the original language and the corresponding translation (except for English and French certificates).
