Research Interests:

I am art historian, specialist in Castilian Dominican nunneries. I am currently Marie Curie-Clarín cofund post doc fellow at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, where I am working on a project titled Libraries, liturgical performance and monastic spaces in the Iberian mendicant nunneries.

Research Career and International Experience:

In 2013, I obtained her PhD at the University of Oviedo (Spain) with a thesis titled Art and architecture of the Dominican nunneries in the "Province of Spain". From the origins until the reform (1218-1506). I am particularly interested in the study of Medieval and Early Modern art and architecture in relation to liturgy in Mendicant nunneries in Spain, Latin America and Italy. I have worked at the University of Oviedo and the National University
