With its two stages and eight dance and rehearsal studios, the tanzhaus nrw, which is located in a former tram depot, has developed into an international centre for contemporary dance. Extending over 4000 m², it is at the same time a place for performances, a production facility and a recognized training centre with 3000 visitors a week. Over 200 performances throughout the whole year present the entire aesthetic and cultural spectrum of contemporary dance.

Students up to the age of 27 years receive a discount of 50 % on all stage events.
