Heinrich Heine Professorship of Economics 2022

As part of the Heinrich Heine Professorship of Economics, Rafael Laguna de la Vera, founding director of the Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation, will give two public lectures on Disruptive Innovation in lecture hall 3D.

 

1st lecture on 10/26/2022, 4:30pm:

Disruptive Innovation – a big fuss or real progress? What innovations do we need and where do they come from?

2nd lecture on 11/22/2022, 4:30 pm:

Disruptive Innovation - Which ecosystem does innovation need? Private and government, framework conditions.

The lectures are aimed at students, faculty and staff of the university as well as the interested public. Participation is possible without prior registration.

 

With the support of the Dr. Jost Henkel Foundation, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf established the 'Heinrich Heine Professorship of Economics ' in 2011. With this award, it honors important personalities from science and practice who take a recognizable stance on current economic issues. The previous recipients: Prof. Dr. Dres. h.c. Hans-Werner Sinn, President of the Munich-based Ifo Institute (2011); René Obermann, CEO of Deutsche Telekom (2012); Prof. Dr. Claudia Buch, Vice President of the Deutsche Bundesbank (2015) and Dr. Kurt Bock, former CEO of BASF SE (2018/2019).
