Impressions of the HHU Summer Beach Party

Welcome to the Summer Beach! On June 23, starting at 4 p.m., the square in front of the University Library will turn into a beach with food trucks, DJ and 80 tons of sand.  Would you like to let a few balls fly through the air, or test your balance on a surf simulator?  Enjoy all this in a relaxed atmosphere under palm trees. All students and employees are warmly invited!

The perfect summer evening offers good music, drinks and a pleasant surrounding.  Exceptional light effects and 80 tons of sand transform the heart of the university into an enjoyable island.  A DJ and "The Speedos" will provide the right sounds.

By the way - you should already keep your eyes open: Starting Tuesday, June 14, surfers will be strolling around campus. Anyone who approaches them and tells them the code word "Summer Beach Party" will receive a voucher for a free drink at the party.

Gastronomy and security

All food and drinks will be paid with a token system. There are four beverage stalls to ensure that everyone is well taken care of. Tokens will be available next to each stall. For safety reasons glass bottles are not allowed in the party area.

If the area gets too crowded it may be necessary to close the entrances temporarily. As soon as it gets emptier, the entrances will be reopened again.
