Partial refund of the semester ticket

Information on the effects of the Federal Government's relief package (9 € ticket) on the Semesterticket

The federal government has decided on a 9 € ticket for bus and train for June, July and August 2022 as part of the relief package. Your semester ticket will remain valid for these months. It is not necessary to purchase a 9 € ticket. Existing semester tickets are expected to be valid throughout Germany during the campaign. However, a decision on this is still pending. Please inform yourself on the homepage of the VRR www.vrr.de.

Reimbursement based on the 9 € ticket

Students at HHU Düsseldorf will also benefit from the introduction of the 9 € ticket. For the months of June, July and August, the payment of the social contribution results in a total overpayment of 79.53 €. This amount will be refunded from mid-July to the account from which the social contribution was transferred.
