Use of lifts at weekends
Students who have block seminars at the weekend should inform lecturers in good time if they need to use a lift as the lifts are switched off at weekends.
Barrier-free access to the intermediate floor in the University and State Library (ULB)
In order to improve accessibility in building 24.41 (ULB), the BLB NRW (building and real estate management North Rhine-Westphalia) will be installing a lift near the east entrance from 18 October 2023. Completion is scheduled for late summer 2024.
The lift will link level 00 (foyer) and the intermediate floor, enabling barrier-free access to the seminar rooms and the offices of the Occupational and Environmental Safety Unit (SAUS) in the future.
The measure may result in a significant amount of noise at times.
Advance warning will be provided of particularly noise-intensive periods.
