Evaluation of course modules

All course modules (lectures, seminars etc.) at Heinrich Heine University are evaluated in the middle of each term: This ensures that teaching staff and students have time to discuss the results together and for these results to be integrated into the further planning of the modules in question.

Most surveys are carried out online. This has some advantages: participants’ anonymity is guaranteed, the evaluation is quickly available and requires minimal personnel resources, course modules and courses of study can be directly compared, etc.

In order to take part in the online evaluation, the participant must possess a valid university email address, as individual access to the login to the web-based questionnaire is sent to this address. For some modules there is also a paper version of the questionnaire.

Each evaluation contributes directly to quality assurance: The teaching staff concerned must present and discuss the results of the evaluation in their classes.
