Examinations at HHU
For students’ general questions about studying, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU) offers a central Service Point: the Student Service Centre for concrete student services, such as enrolment certificates, handing in of final papers and theses, or advice about course progress/examinations – we are there for you.
The Registrar's and Examinations Office of Heinrich Heine University is responsible for handling all final examinations in the individual courses of study, apart from a few exceptions.
For Medicine, the Registrar's and Examinations Office is only responsible for the administration of certificates of achievement. For all questions related to the State Examination in Medicine and the State Examination in Pharmacy, please contact the State Examination Office for Medicine, Psychotherapy and Pharmacy (Landesprüfungsamt für Medizin, Psychotherapie und Pharmazie).
For Law, the Registrar's and Examinations Officee is only responsible for intermediate and specialization examinations. For the State Examination in Law, please contact the das Judiciary Examinations Office (Justizprüfungsamt).
For questions concerning teaching training examinations, please contact the State Examination Office for School Teachers (Staatliches Prüfungsamt für Lehrämter an Schulen).
