Application for Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry: nationwide NC
The "nationwide NC" subjects are study programmes with admission restriction which are managed by the Foundation for University Admissions ("Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung"). Study places are awarded by the foundation (according to average mark, waiting time etc.).
The following study programmes at the Heinrich Heine University are affected by this regulation:
- Pharmacy (state examination- offered during summer and winter term)
- Medicine (state examination- only offered during winter term)
- Dentistry (state examination- only offered during winter term)
Detailed information about these study programmes can be accessed via the study programme overview.
The application will be done via the above mentioned services of the former ZVS: „Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung“ – Dortmund and is only offered online. You can only apply for one of these study programmes.
Most of the questions regarding the application process can be answered with help of the magazine "hochschulstart.de". Furthermore, the Foundation for University Admissions created a homepage which contains more detailed information. If you have any additional questions, please contact the Foundation for University Admissions directly via the application consulting services:
