HHU Companion App
The “HHU Companion” project app is a community tool for information, exchange and networking.
It is free of charge and offers a safe space that is primarily available to international students at HHU. You can post your questions to the community in a safe environment. You can also get to know other students via the app.
The app offers:
- The latest news at a glance – HHU news, events, leisure activities, etc.
- Dates of events
- Forum – for questions regarding anything from the start of your studies to graduation and working in Germany
- Community – with profiles of other community members and the opportunity to network
- Info pages – about studying at HHU and living in Germany

Please note: After installing the app, you need enter the event code “XELB6” and register with your HHU e-mail address, if you have one. You can find step-by-step instructions in the tutorial.
Some end devices experience problems when the event code is copied in. The erroneous message that the event code is invalid can be avoided by entering the event code "XELB6" manually.

The app "HHU Companion" is available for Android and iOS via the respective store. The International Office of HHU is responsible for the content, the technical provision is carried out by an external service provider.
