A university in particular relies on the potential of its teaching and other staff members. In such cases personnel management requires special know-how and foresight. At our university these tasks lie in the hands of the Department for Personnel and Organisation. It is responsible for all areas of the university – both for academic and non-academic staff.
The department assists in appointing professors and employing other staff members. It provides support and guidance to all university employees for questions related to their employment, develops individual further training courses, specific coaching for managerial staff and actively assists during restructuring measures and organisational studies, and facilitates further organisational development, particularly in the Central Administration.
